LOL, more distortion, more everything GO GO GO

zorkfiend responds:

Haha it would have better distortion if i wasn't using an acoustic guitar XD

WTF why does this exist.

StompySan responds:

DERP DERP!

Haha, insanity for most, makes sense for me. You are gifted man.

Work on the beat, but it isn't bad.

What kind of sick shit goes through your head to make something like this.

Some of the best tech tracks I have heard all have a loop chopper behind them, you can make some cash making some killer club tracks with the chopped up vocals and so forth....

Coolaid

pookicker responds:

Thanks, bro! Insanity is one of the best possible descriptors for this and better yet, it makes sense to you. Hell yizyeah, whut?!

I need some discipline with my beats, I know. I march to a different drummer who just so happens to be drunk, paulsiated , and puzzlingly armless. o.O

Ecto-cooler.

Love

Super great. This is some of the stuff that resonates with my head, and that is hard to pull off.

I am a fan.

I like this, I will say no more.

pookicker responds:

Your comment is well received. I am more than pleased, I am happy. :D

Yes

HAHAHA I Love it man. Best thing I have heard tonite.

Some degree of what I heard at the raves in 1998-2002 (minus the duh duh part)

great times.

pookicker responds:

Glad to hear it!

I think at the time I made this, it was a slight departure from whatever the girlfriend was listening to... like Erika - Relations. Funny, she loved her dog and I loved my cat and we were friends and... Shit. I think I just broke a memory vessel. I hate that girl because she is awesome.

Sorry about that. Thanks for listening to my tunes!

Reviewing

Meh, it is alrite, well not that much but OKay.

It is soft on the volume. I am taken just because I like cheap breakbeats like this.

Obviously needs a ton of work, but I got my 1 minute of fun out of it. Thanx

Size

It is all good, only thing is where is some bass, it could be on my end not picking it up. This does drive me crazy in a good way. Great use tweaking all the knobs and buttons throughout!

My question is, and this is not a dis', but just curious, where is this type of techy/trancy drum and bass being played, made/sold, where is it coming from? It sounds nothing like what I have heard or gotten on vinyl in the past 3+ years.

Sacrafan responds:

LOLSZORZ

Well, i was using FL Demo for this because my friends comp that i was using this on had only demo, so i sed a preset drum beat and sliced the hell out of it XD

Farther

Pretty cool song.

Mix the beat to the other sounds a little better.

0:13 you hear how that that marimba hit comes in and causes the cymbals and drums to lower in volume, fix that too.

This could be a cool track with a lot of work. What program are you using. Reason?

Creedence Clearwater Revival: Fortunate Son

Song Sample + Reverb - turn down reverb or increase the decay or sumthin

Beat Sample + Reverb? - did you make this beat, it would own if u did... sounds familiar though

This is "Creedence Clearwater Revival: Fortunate Son", not just from BFVietnam, get learned yo.... on this group, they have some badass songs

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ec0XKh AHR5I

It does sound badass too a DnB beat though.

Floating this way and that

Sounds just right for the part. Good work, has that 'wondering' feel to it, like 'where can i go next' excitement feeling to it. Great work. Sounds like a 'Maxis Studio' song Sims or Sim-City...4 maybe. Great sounds.

SFaPiL2 responds:

Wow, thanks for comparing my song to a game such as The Sims.

Yeah, I was aiming for a very lighthearted loop.

Cheers.
